Food Delivered to Gorkha District, Epicenter of Nepal Earthquake

The World Food Programme reached Nepal’s remote Gorkha district on Thursday, April 30, five days after a 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck there. Concerns emerged on Wednesday as to what has happened to 10,000 or more villagers living in Gorkha, where the quake’s epicenter was located.
