Former New York Governor George Pataki Announces Presidential Bid

Former three-term governor of New York George Pataki announced he will enter the race for the Republican presidential nomination in a video released on May 28. “Washington has grown too big, too powerful, too expensive, and too intrusive,” Pataki says in a video that takes an anti-big government tone. Pataki also cites his non-partisan credentials, referencing his experience as a Republican governor in the “very deep blue” state of New York.
