Galveston Oil Spill Severely Impacts Wildlife

Wildlife along the Texas coast has been severely impacted by an oil spill in Galveston Bay. The spill began on March 22 when a barge carrying oil was struck by another ship in the Houston Ship Channel. Some 168,000 gallons of oil was spilled into the channel. Volunteers who would like to help with clean-up are asked to visit the Central Texas Coastal Area Committee website. Credit: YouTube/Texas Parks and Wildlife
