Glasgow Enjoys Guy Fawkes Night Fireworks Display 24 Hours Early

Tens of thousands of people turned out in Glasgow, Scotland, on the evening of November 4, to see the annual Bonfire Night fireworks display at the city’s Glasgow Green area. Over 3,000 fireworks were set off shortly after 7:30pm. The event is usually celebrated on November 5 to coincide with Guy Fawkes Night, but was moved ahead 24 hours to accommodate a soccer match taking place in the city on Thursday evening.
