Golf Ball-Sized Hailstones Reported Near Canberra

Golf ball-sized hailstones were reported in New South Wales on Thursday evening, February 11. State emergency services in Queanbeyan, near Canberra, received over 140 requests for help, with homes and buildings damaged.

This video shows large hailstones coming down outside the Queanbeyan City Library.

The Bureau of Meteorology in Australia warned of flash flooding as a result of hail and heavy rainfall.
