Green Candidate Makes Poetical Appeal Against 'Tactical' Voting

Theo Simon, the Green Party’s candidate for Somerton and Frome, has turned to poetry in an attempt to get constituents to think beyond mere “tactical” voting. In a new campaign video, he recites a punchy poem in which he asks people to look beyond the obvious choices.

The Liberal Democrats took the seat in 2010; however, the results of a Lord Ashcroft poll back in September indicate that the Tories are in line to take the seat in next month’s election.
