Police clashed with protesters demonstrating over police violence in Albuquerque on March 30. The protest was triggered by the death of James Boyd, who was fatally shot in a confrontation with police over illegally camping in the foothills of the Sandia Mountain on March 16. Video of the incident recorded by one of the officers involved triggered controversy when it was released online. This video shows a heavy police presence at the protest.
