Herd of Goats Reduces Fire Hazards in California

Hundreds of goats tied up traffic in Berkeley, California, on Friday, June 12, when the Berkeley Lab herded them to a hill just below its Blackberry Gate. The Berkeley Lab uses goats to “keep its grasses short” and “reduce fire hazards,” according to a post on its Facebook page. This video from Friday, which has since gone viral, shows goats scrambling down a slope and across a road. Credit: Facebook/Berkeley Lab (David Stein)
