High Tide Washes Away Home Along Jersey Shore

Heavy rain and coastal flooding swept away a home early October 3 in Grassy Sound in North Wildwood, New Jersey. The high tide brought a swell up to eight feet, according to NJ.com. The building was empty at the time of the collapse, and the owner was at the scene on October 3, according to NJ.com.

Moderate to heavy coastal flooding is expected throughout the weekend in New Jersey as a storm system churns off the shore combined with Hurricane Joaquin.
