Houston Area Residents Line Streets to Honor Fallen Sheriff's Deputy

Thousands gathered on September 4 to pay their respects to a Harris County sheriff’s deputy who was gunned down while pumping gas into his vehicle. Friends, family and law enforcement brethren attended the funeral for Deputy Darren Goforth at Houston’s Second Baptist Church, including Texas Governor Greg Abbott.

There were plans for a 21-gun salute and a march of a riderless horse included in the ceremony. This video shows a procession of vehicles that includes the vehicle with Goforth’s body.
