Hundreds Attend Vigil for Woman Whose Baby Was Cut From Womb

Around 300 people attended a candlelight vigil held at Loomiller Park in Longmont, Colorado, on the evening of Sunday, March 22, for a woman whose baby was cut from her womb. Michelle Wilkins was nearly eight months pregnant when her unborn baby was cut out on March 18. Wilkins was in critical but stable condition. The baby did not survive.

According to the Denver Post, 34-year-old Dynel Lane, a mother of three, allegedly lured Wilkins to her home after posting a Craigslist ad for baby clothes.
