Iditarod Race to Move North Because of Lack of Snow

A lack of snow has pushed the Iditarod Great Sled Race further north in Alaska this year. The ceremonial start will still take place in Anchorage, and workers are filling in the trails with snow, according to local media. The race will then reset north to Fairbanks on Monday because of the traditional trail’s lack of snow, but there is snow in the forecast.
