Israeli Field Hospital in Kathmandu Sees Its First Birth

The Israel Defense Forces are operating what they say is their “largest ever” field hospital in Kathmandu. The hospital was constructed after a 260-strong aid delegation arrived in the earthquake-hit Nepalese capital earlier this week. On April 30, the IDF reported that the first birth had taken place at the field hospital.
