Israeli Police Release Footage of Protest, Clashes in Tel Aviv

Clashes broke out in Tel Aviv’s Rabin Square on Sunday, May 3, after a day of protests against police brutality held by Israeli Jews of Ethiopian descent. The Israeli police released this video showing some of the violence, including protesters throwing rocks and bottles at police, reported by the Jerusalem Post. Police fired stun grenades and tear gas to disperse the crowds, which blocked Tel Aviv’s main highway earlier in the day.
