Israeli Undercover Police Infiltrate Ramallah Stone Throwers

Israeli police dressed and speaking like Palestinians infiltrated groups of stone throwers near Ramallah, West Bank, on October 7, according to reports supported by this footage. Clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinians in the West Bank intensified in recent days, amid fears of a third intifada.

The IDF stood accused of inciting aggression and mistreating demonstrators after footage, such as that shared by Agence France-Presse on October 7, showed what appeared to be undercover Israelis, with support from IDF soldiers, drawing guns on a group of Palestinian stone throwers and firing live ammunition.

The United Nations Human Rights chief Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein called for calm, telling AFP that “use of live ammunition by Israeli security forces, raise concerns of excessive use of force.” Credit: YouTube/Shasha.ps
