ISS crew get terra firma under their feet

A cosmonaut and two astronauts have landed in Kazakhstan after spending four months on the International Space Station. Expedition Commander Sunitha Williams returned to Earth with flight engineers Yuri Malentchenko and Akihido Oshide. The trio have spent 127 days in space since their launch from the Baikonur Space Centre in Kazakhstan in July. A Russian recovery team and NASA personnel reached the landing site by helicopter to help the crew and carry out health tests.
