Italian Air Force Transfers Ebola-Infected Nurse to Rome

An Italian nurse who tested positive for Ebola has been transferred from Sardinia to a hospital in Rome. The male nurse recently returned from treating Ebola patients in Sierra Leone, and presented at a local hospital before being taken on an Italian Air Force C130 to Rome’s Lazzaro Spallanzani hospital. La Repubblica quoted doctors on May 13 saying the man was not critically ill. Credit: Italian Ministry of Defence
