Protesters carrying yellow umbrellas defied police demands that they disperse during a protest in Hong Kong on Monday, September 28, according to activist sources. The protest was called to mark the first anniversary of the pro-democracy Umbrella Movement, during which activists occupied streets in the city, beginning on September 26, 2014.
