Mexico's Popocatépetl Volcano Eruption Continues

Mexico’s National Center for Prevention of Disasters (CENAPRED) issued a yellow warning as the Popocatépetl volcano continued to vent steam, gas and ash into the air on Sunday, January 4. Over a 24-hour period, up to 5pm GMT on January 4, CENEPRED reported “113 low-intensity exhalations” and explosions of “low to intermediate intensity” from the volcano.
