Mia Farrow Meets Displaced Families in Central African Republic

Storyful

Mia Farrow, actor, activist and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, returned to the Central African Republic from July 1-5 2014 for her fourth visit to witness and report on the impact of the conflict on women and children. Farrow met with internally displaced families and with children formerly associated with armed groups as well as visiting health centres.

Farrow says: “Wherever you see this terrible violence, you will also see more numbers of those trying to help…and that’s one of my takeaways from this trip – all the heroes, the aid workers, the teachers.” Credit: YouTube\UNICEF
