A Michelin-starred meal on a Ferris wheel

A Michelin-starred meal on a ferris wheel

is the newest offering from Hungarian restaurant Costes

Diners get a romantic view of Budapest

while separated from other guests

making it a safe dining experience

(SOUNDBITE) (Hungarian) OWNER OF MICHELIN STARRED COSTES RESTAURANT, KAROLY GERENDAI, SAYING:

"When tourism was in full swing, there was no point stopping the wheel for such an event because there were always lots of people on it. But now that there are not many people either on the wheel or in the restaurant because there are no tourists, the opportunity to do this arose. Especially now that it is very important for people to be separate from other guests to be safe. And for this, the ferris wheel is ideal with its separate cabins so we can solve the issue of separate seating for guests."

Tickets cost nearly $155 each for a four-course meal

and sold out within days

(SOUNDBITE) (English) STUDENT FROM HONG KONG AND FERRIS WHEEL DINER, ERIC CHEUNG, SAYING:

"I think it's important to be safe, but I think having fun is essential to your life as well. But under this circumstance where it is an enclosed area with people that are close to you, then I think it's okay."
