Migrants Board Buses in Budapest Bound for Austria

Eyewitnesses said that over 60 buses organised by the Hungarian government arrived at Budapest’s Keleti railway station in the early hours of September 5, to ferry thousands of migrants from the station to the border with Austria.

The provision of the buses was announced in a statement by the government on Friday, after migrants and refugees who spent days stranded at Budapest’s Keleti train station, decided to set out on foot for the Hungary-Austria border. Buses reportedly arrived to pick up the marchers as well. Credit: Twitter/Aron Lukacs
