Mogherini Says Iran Talks Entering 'Crucial' Period

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini said on Monday, March 16, that talks over Iran’s nuclear programme were entering a “crucial” two-week period when the parties would need to “find the common ground for a good deal.” Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif was in Brussels where he was expected to meet with EU foreign ministers before resuming talks with US Secretary of State John Kerry in Swizerland.

Speaking about the talks from 5:14 in this footage, Mogherini said that she would hold a bilateral meeting with Zarif, before joining a second meeting involving foreign ministers from the three EU states that are party to the talks, Britain, France and Germany.
