Intense shelling and heavy gunfire were reported in the Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk on Tuesday, February 10. According to reports quoting witnesses in the city, shells hit a number of streets, injuring several people. A reporter in the city said one woman had been killed.

Addressing the Ukrainian parliament, President Petro Poroshenko blamed pro-Russian separatists for the shelling, saying “Tornado” shells launched from multiple rocket launchers were used in the attack. The Tornado system is similar to the widely used Russian Grad launcher.
