Mouth-to-Mouth Resuscitation Saves Koala Bear

Firefighters and wildlife workers had to perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to save this unconscious, injured koala after he was hit by a car in Melbourne, Australia. The bear had climbed a tree before his heart stopped, with firefighters catching him in a blanket as he fell to the ground. After a tense few seconds, the koala sprung back to life, albeit a little dazed and confused. Credit: Facebook/Steven Kuiter
