NASA Selects 4 Astronauts to Test Commercial Spaceflights

Four veteran astronauts were selected to train and prepare for the first commercial spaceflights from the US, according to NASA. The astronauts will work closely with Boeing and SpaceX “to develop their crew transportation systems and provide crew transportation services to and from the International Space Station”.

The test crew are astronauts Robert Behnken, Eric Boe, Douglas Hurley and Sunita Williams, who holds the record for total cumulative spacewalk time by a female. Credit: YouTube/ReelNASA
