Nationalist Protesters Clash With Police Outside Kiev Parliament

Riot police clashed with nationalist protesters outside Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada on August 31, after the parliament approved the first reading of President Petro Poroshenko’s constitutional amendment proposals for decentralization. One National Guardsman was killed by a shrapnel wound after a grenade exploded at the scene, the Interior Ministry said. Dozens of people were reported injured.
