Neglected Horse Found With Overgrown, 3ft-Long Hooves

Three underweight horses with overgrown hooves were found abandoned in a Maryland stable in appalling condition, Days End Farm Horse Rescue said on August 24. One horse with hooves more than 3.5ft long needed to be euthanized, while the other two were sedated so that their hooves could be operated on, the group said.
