NTSB: Duck Boat in Deadly Seattle Crash Had Sheared Axle

National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) investigators said the Seattle duck tour boat that crashed into a bus killing five people had not received a repair recommended in 2013. NTSB board member Earl Weener said the organisation responsible for outfitting the amphibious World War II vehicle operated by Ride the Ducks of Seattle had warned of a failure point on the axle.
