Obama Surprises Wounded Veteran at Housewarming Party

US President Barack Obama made a surprise visit at a veteran’s housewarming party on March 13. Sgt. Cory Remsburg, a wounded veteran, received the keys to his new home, and Obama brought him a number of housewarming gifts, including White House beer. Remsburg and Obama first met at a ceremony in 2009 on Omaha Beach for the 65th anniversary of D-Day. The president honored him during the State of the Union Address in 2014.
