Obama Vows Thorough Investigation Into Chattanooga Shooting

President Barack Obama offered his “deepest sympathies” to the four US Marines fatally shot in an attack on military facilities in Chattanooga, Tennessee on July 16. Obama said he spoke with the Department of Defense to ensure all facilities are “attentive and vigilant”.

Obama said the FBI, alongside local authorities, will lead the investigation. The FBI said the shooting suspect who targeted a US Naval Recruiting building and US Naval Reserve Center was identified as Mohammad Youssef Abdulazeez. Credit: YouTube/The White House
