OSCE Spokesperson Speaks From MH17 Crash Site

Storyful

Michael Bociurkiw, spokesperson of OSCE special monitoring mission to Ukraine spoke from the crash-site of the MH17 Malaysia Airlines flight in Donetsk on July 19. Taking questions from journalists, Bociurkiw described the scene as looking “like a war-zone” and that some of the bodybags had been left open, revealing “damage to the corpses [was] very, very bad and very difficult to look at”.

He said that the location had a heavy security presence and that “they were being watched very carefully”, adding that “as far as we can tell no bodies have been moved from the crash-site”, only to the side of the road. Credit: YouTube/Ukraine Crises Media Center
