People Travel From Across Ireland to Protest Austerity

People travelled from across Ireland to march against water charges in Dublin on Saturday, March 21. The #Right2Water movement gathered momentum in 2014 as the Irish government continued its plans to implement domestic water charges. Demonstrators are protesting the plan specifically and the government’s policies of austerity more generally.

From early morning demonstrators were tweeting images of people travelling from across the country to attend the demonstration.
