Plane Carrying Cocaine Crashes Into Caribbean Sea

The Colombian Air Force has reported that a small plane carrying more than a ton of cocaine crashed into the Caribbean Sea on May 20 after being intercepted by a Colombian Air Force plane. The aircraft, a Hawker 800 travelling from Venezuela, reportedly tried to escape a pursuit from the Colombia plane after it entered the country’s airspace, but later crashed due to motor failure.
