Police Throw Tear Gas at Student Protesters in San Cristóbal

Student protesters rallying against President Nicolas Maduro clashed with police in San Cristobal, Venezuela, on Thursday, February 12, the one year anniversary of demonstrations that resulted in 43 deaths. Venezuelan troops deployed tear gas in an effort to disperse protesters, who were reportedly throwing Molotov cocktails and rock. This footage shows National Guard soldiers throwing tear gas.
