Pope Francis Arrives at United Nations

Pope Francis arrived at the United Nations to meet staff and speak to the United Nations General Assembly on September 25.

Francis’s speech is part of his six-day trip to the United States, his first. His schedule in New York on September 25 included a visit to the 9/11 Memorial and Museum for an interfaith service and to celebrate Mass at Madison Square Garden.

Francis’s trip has also included a trip to the White House and a speech before a joint session of Congress in Washington. He wraps up his US tour in Philadelphia this weekend where he will appear at the World Meeting of Families.
