Pope Meets Ban Ki-Moon After Climate Change Summit

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon met with Pope Francis on April 28, following a climate change summit hosted at the Vatican, titled “Protect the Earth, Dignify Humanity.” The event was attended by scholars and politicians including Italian president Sergio Matarella, and saw several Vatican officials warn against climate change following a keynote address by Mr. Ban.
