President Obama Delivers Statement on Iran Talks

United States President Barack Obama delivered a statement on the Iran talks on Thursday, April 2, announcing that Iran and the P5+1 countries had reached an agreement on a framework for an Iranian nuclear deal.

Obama said that if the Iran framework leads to a final deal it will make the world safer.

“This framework would cut off every pathway that Iran could take to develop a nuclear weapon,” Obama said.
