President Obama Sends Warm Wishes for Passover and Easter

US President Barack Obama sent warm wishes for those celebrating Passover and Easter over the weekend in a short White House message on April 4. He said that himself and his family would spend Easter Sunday reflecting on the religious day that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

“I hope you feel as joyful and as blessed as I do this weekend,” the president said. “And I hope that among our many blessings, we pause and give thanks for the chance to live in a country where everyone has the right to worship and pray and love as they choose. Our ideas, our faith, and our beliefs have only made our democracy stronger in the centuries since.” Credit: YouTube/The White House
