Prince Charles Speaks at Opening of Climate Conference

Prince Charles urged immediate action on climate change during a keynote address at the COP21 conference in Paris on Monday, November 30. The prince, an avid conservationist, said the world has “the knowledge, tools and money” to make a difference.

“After far too long an interval, you are all here to set us on the road to a saner future,” he said. “If, at last, the moment has arrived to take those long-awaited steps towards rescuing our planet and our fellow man from impending catastrophe, then let us pursue that vital goal in a spirit of enlightened and humane collaboration.” Credit: YouTube/British Monarchy
