Protest Camps Remain Despite PM Agreeing to Resign

Rival protest camps remained in Skopje on July 15, despite Macedonian leaders reaching an agreement over the political crisis which has gripped the nation in recent months. The deal, which was brokered by the European Union in the early hours of Wednesday morning, will see the under-fire Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski resign in January 2016, ahead of elections in April – two years ahead of schedule.
