Protesters Rally After Skid Row Deadly Shooting by LAPD

Protesters in Los Angeles marched from the site of a deadly police shooting to downtown on March 3. The protesters carried signs that read “You Can’t Kill Africa” and chanted the same during the march. The protest comes days after a homeless man, called Africa, was shot by police during a run-in that was captured on video, according to local media.

Police are investigating the incident, including reviewing body camera footage from the police on scene. The body camera footage, though, would not be released until the investigation was complete. Credit: Facebook/Najee Ali
