Protesters Shut Down Mining City for More Infrastructure in Southern Bolivia

Protesters calling for government investment in infrastructure blocked access to the mining town of Potosi for 12 days on Friday, July 17. News reports said the city of 130,000 was running short of petrol, food and money supplies, with around 100 foreigners trapped.
