Protests on the Streets of Athens Over Bailout Deal

Marches in protest against a new bailout deal took place in cities across Greece on Wednesday, July 15, as civil servants walked off their jobs and called for a cancellation of the agreement reached between the Greek government and the EU/IMF. According to reports, protests were planned in over 50 Greek cities, with lawmakers expected to vote on the proposed deal later on Wednesday.
