Qantas Sends Oldest Aircraft to Aviation Museum

Qantas, Australia’s flag carrier airline, retired its oldest aircraft on Sunday, March 8, sending the Boeing 747-400 to an aviation museum for public display. After 25 years of flying, the City of Canberra will become the first 747-400 in the world to go on display. The plane flew into New South Wale’s Illawarra Regional Airport, which houses an aviation museum.
