Queen Rania: We Are in Confrontation With Those Who Have Hijacked Our Religion

Queen Rania of Jordan has said that Muslims are “in confrontation with those who hijacked our religion”, and that Arab nations need to “eliminate the ideology of hate and terrorism” put forward by the Islamic State. Rania made the comments in a prerecorded address to be aired at the 2015 Arab Government Summit, when begins in Dubai on February 9.

Rania added that the people of Jordan were “united in condolence for the martyred Cpt Muath Al-Kasasbeh”, and that Jordanians are “determined to fight terrorism and hold accountable those who are committing the most heinous and brutal atrocities of our time”.
