Quincy and Odd Couple star Jack Klugman dies

Jack Klugman, the star of American TV shows Quincy and The Odd Couple has died. The Emmy award winning actor was 90. According to his son Adam, he died at his home in Los Angeles following a period of declining health. Paired with Tony Randell, he created one of TV’s most memorable duos in The Odd Couple which came about in the mid 70s after the success of the film version. His acting career, which spanned six-decades and involved many stage, screen and television roles, would see him inducted on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In Quincy ME, he played a principaled forensic pathologist in a series that ran for seven seasons in the late 70s and early 80s.
