Red Arrows Fly Over Runnymede to Mark Magna Carta Anniversary

The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows, flew over Runnymede Meadows in Surrey on Monday, June 15, to mark the 800th anniversary of the sealing of the Magna Carta, which laid the foundations of parliamentary democracy. Earlier, Queen Elizabeth and other members of the royal family, as well as Prime Minister David Cameron, attended a special event in Runnymede at the site where King John sealed the original Magna Carta document in 1215.
