Red Cross Appeals for Aid for Residents of Embattled Damascus Districts

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) released a new video on April 23 in which it appeals for assistance for residents of the Damascus districts of Babila, Yalda and Beit Sahem, three districts that have received an influx of refugees from Yarmouk, the embattled refugee camp in southern Damascus that recently came under attack from Islamic State militants.

In the video, Marianne Gasser, ICRC head of delegation in Syria, describes the assistance the ICRC is giving to people in the district. Credit: YouTube/International Committee of the Red Cross
