Refugees Flee Ramadi for Lake Habbaniya Amid Islamic State Assault

Iraqis fleeing Ramadi in al-Anbar province, which was seized by Islamic State militants on May 17, have sought refuge south of the city at a former holiday camp near Lake Habbaniya. Some 114,000 people have been displaced from the Ramadi district since clashes between government forces and militants spilled into the city in mid-April, according to the Iraqi government.
